What's New?

21st August 2002

Dear Diary,

I had again problems with chat yesterday. I do not know what the problem is. Once it's the camera, the other times the connection fails and yesterday? Who knows? I was trying to reconnect for about half an hour but it would not even find my site anymore. Just when we started to have real fun. I am so sorry. I used to think it's caused by my computer. Now when I reinstalled the whole system… I can only hope it's gonna be OK next time which shall be this coming Sunday, August 25th, 2002 at 22.00 CET (1.00pm PDT or 4.00pm EDT in USA, 6.00 Monday morning in Sydney).

I am spending almost every weekend in my parent's cottage in the mountains. I am there with my two cats and it's really great to be together. It's so quiet there; beautiful nature and I can do anything I want. I ride my bicycle around a lot and go to pick mushrooms often. Now they grow quick. I find hundreds of them these days. The best is to look for them. I wonder around the woods, it's quiet and the air is fresh. But cleaning them is what I dislike. After cleaning them I have few choices as of what to do with them: to freeze them for later, to souse them in vinegar or to prepare original mushroom "goulash". I'm quite tired of eating mushrooms though (anybody wondering why?). My cats, of course, do not eat them. Every time I return carrying big basket full of them they come around to see what I got for them. But then they see it and leave me in anger…

I work as well! Even though I have no computer or Internet connection there. For instance, I had to paint the whole cottage last week (my mom's decision). Now I am supposed to pick currant and make marmalade from it.

There was new gallery added to my site. I impersonate a helmsman of an overseas boat. Henry Castulik took these pictures last fall in Croatia. It was very cold there and this ship was docked in the port next to other ships. A lot of tourists were passing by and I guess we were the main attraction. There were about 30 sailors on board of next ship. They took out binoculars when they realized what we were doing and took a break while watching us. It did not bother me too much as there were about ten people in our group, incl. Kyla, Nika, Kiki. And when we finished shooting we went for some sightseeing like other tourists to town where we docked the boat.

Tomorrow I'm going to the cottage again. Too bad I cannot take my computer along. I wish I could do the chat there so that my fans could see how I spent my leisure time there. So I'll be back in Brno on Sunday evening. And who knows, I might publish some personal pictures I took there if my fans will want.

8th August 2002

Dear diary,

I had some time off last week so I decided to spend it in Jizerske mountains. The mountains are not too high, the highest peek is only about 1100m tall, but they are very beautiful. I must say I had a great time there. The village we lived in was situated near Polish border. There were no mobile phone signal or Internet connection available. So it was really great Holiday as nobody was bother by telephone rings.

I go there every year with my parents; to ski in winter (cross country) and to ride a bike and pick blueberries in summer. Although it's not easy to get always along with parents :-) , this time it was great. It was nice weather when we were leaving and the forecast was good too. It takes 3hrs by car to get there but since I hadn't seen my parents for some time we spent it by talking. We had a lot to talk about…

The mountains were great. I love that air. It's so fresh, so different. I say it's super even though it's a bit colder than in Brno where I live. We met my uncle who gave us the key to his cottage where we stayed the whole time. The first day we took a little bike ride around (some 5km). In the evening we had a barbecue and drank wine.

My dad decided that evening that we all have to wake up early next morning 'case he planned a whole day bike trip. And you know how I hate early morning waking up (e.g. before 8.00)! But what could I do. I was up at 7.00 but I did all I could very slowly so that I could somehow "finish sleeping" for example when brushing my teeth. The sun was shining but it was a bit colder outside. At least that was good for the bike ride. We had planned about 40 km long trip including Smrk mountain (highest one) ascend. At about 9.00 I had to take off all clothes I had on me as it got very hot. And I already started to look forward to a cold shower back in the cottage. I even made it all the way up to the top on Smrk but I was more walking and pushing the bike beside me that riding it…

My parents were already waiting for me on the top. Then we had a long descend to the Polish side of border. Did I tell you that Smrk mountain is a border mountain? But then it got cloudy and started to rain. And I have no mudguards on my bike. We had nowhere to hide so we hoped it would stop soon. It got colder and now I was looking forward to a hot shower at that time. At the bottom of the mountain we all looked liked a cross bike competitors. That's how much mud we were carrying. I had a mud stripe running across my whole back. Then the road got better, the sun came out again bringing heat along and I started to look forward to cold shower for a change…

We crossed the river at the end of the trip I started to have enough of bike riding. I hadn't been riding a bike for some time before so I was very exhausted after those 40 km. I took 15 min. shower in the cottage. But not too cold, just to refresh myself. I spent the rest of the day by lying outside sun tanning and reading a book. That was the worst part of my stay.

I refused to go for another trip next day and rather went out to look for and pick some blueberries. I successfully picked about 10 liters and so did my dad so my mom was wondering what we'd do with it. I did not worry. I love blueberries and I think we'll manage eating them…

It was raining 3rd day so we declared it as leisure day. I only lied down, read a book and ate blueberries. Next days, when it was not raining, we took only a short bike trips. That I could stand. And because my dear parents have another week off work, my mom decided we'll paint our own cottage. My dad and I were not so excited about it but when my mom says so there's no other thing to do… At least I will spent the whole week with my cats, my little babies. We'll make it a bit nicer for them. I hope they'll like it…

1st August 2002

Dear diary,

It's been almost two weeks since Dr. Dirt left. I must say we had a lot of fun together with Kyla and Dr. After reading message he posted on my messageboard upon his return home I know he had fun too. It's good. I, as well as Kyla, like to make people happy. And he seemed happy when he was here. He brought us a lot of presents. It was so nice of him. Especially knowing how hard it is to find lingerie that fits me. But Dr. is real expert in this. I think he's has been shopping for Kyla so much they offered him a job as a sales manager somewhere. Good for him... lol. Before he left we took him to party at Stodolni street. It's a street where one can find about 50 different bars and clubs. They all have different type of music, they are all differently looking. And the street is only some 400 m (1/4 mile) long. Pretty high density, isn't it? Dr. says one day he will buy us a bar there. That'd be so cool. First think we'd have is a topless service. I'm sure there would be a lot of visitors... We also took Dr. to Prague and showed him around. I know Kyla is in love with Prague so she was happy to be there with or without us. I, unlike her, like smaller towns better. Prague with so many tourists and crowded places gives me a bit headache. Don't get me wrong though, the architecture and sights are awesome but...

I knew Kyla was planning to go to mountains for few days last week so I was surprised when she called me she cancelled the trip. Well, she also told me that Mr. Right was coming to Prague to visit her. So it was not such a big surprise I guess. As she had one day free and I live half way to Prague from where she lives I told her to come by, we'd go to a party. The party was held at my friends house who has this big wooden hot tub on his backyard. We always have few drinks first, then when the time is right we all get naked, he prepares some cocktails, and everyone gets in the tub. Usually at the night time. This time it was a bit special since I was there with Kyla. Not that I'm pure lesbian but I enjoyed it a lot. Let me not get into details here...

When Kyla left I went to the Mountains myself. It's realy nice here. The weather is excellent, nature breathtaking. I'm planning to stay here the whole week. I will have to call Kyla when I return home. Maybe we should do the "Tub party" again. Unless she's still with Mr. Right. But as I know Kyla it won't last long...

Love Tara
